I wore a time stained dress that reached halfway to Hell. Pretty blond curls sat upon my head, grasping desperately at Heaven’s gates. People blurred past in a moment spent staring at the stars that twinkled brightly in the midday sky. Joy striped socks peeked over the tops of my shoes, hoping to catch a glimpse of what I could see, and at that moment, traffic became quiet.
The moment drifted on with the current and horns began to honk again. The clatter of voices filled the air. The stars became skyscraper windows and planes that buzzed overhead like flies. The wonder left, dragged away with that moment. I continued on my way through
The thief takes a sip from his glass, staring across the room. “Hey, do you guys remember when you first arrived in this town and joined the Guild?” The con artist nods, and the assassin speaks a small ‘yes’. “I remember trudging into town with a bag on my back and a flute in my hand, hoping to become a musician or bard or something. I was roughly fourteen years of age, and I had big dreams. Though I failed miserably at reaching my goals, I soon became a talented pickpocket. One day, I stole from a member of the Guild. They didn’t realize it was me until the next day. Thinking I’d be a good fit, they

A Thief An Assassin and A Con Artist
“So, a thief, an assassin, and a con artist walk into a bar,” the assassin starts, his eyes glowing with laughter.
The thief chuckles wildly. The con artist snorts. “And then what happens?” he poses, his tone implying that the joke was terrible.
Recovering, the thief finally joins in. “Well, the thief proposes the three of them get so drunk that even the bartender seems beautiful. They then proceed to hunt for lovely young ladies to stay the night with.”
“Ah, but my dear man,” the con artist begins, “our friend here is no longer on the market. What a shame. We used to have such wonderf
He was a strange child. People who didn’t know him wouldn’t understand him. People who didn’t understand thought there was something wrong with him. The people who thought there was something wrong with him wouldn’t get to know him and would never understand him. It wasn’t Nero’s fault. He simply didn’t want to talk. That was all. It isn’t like he couldn’t. He just didn’t. Most of the people around him spoke with harsh, foul words and sharp, demanding tongues. Grandfather had told Nero not to speak like them. Speaking like that would make him seem arrogant, uneducated, and rude, amon

The door that stood before me represented a decision. I could take the answer I knew was wrong, or I could risk my freedom on a random guess. I knew the door wouldn't take me home. I also knew that opening any of the various exits would immediately give away my position. Every minute I wasted deciding was one minute closer to my recapture. There wasn't really anything worth the risk back home, assuming I guessed right. My enemies outnumbered my friends. I could use a fresh start anyway. I pulled the door open and stepped out into an alleyway.
The light was just beginning to fade as I stepped through the exit. Glancing
When I wake up, my head is pounding. The rest of my body hurts right along with it. Things seem a bit blurry, and it takes me a while to realize it's because I'm not wearing my glasses. Well, crap. Where I am, it feels unusually warm and humid. The ground is coated in a layer of dirt, and a horrible stench fills the air. I can see bars in front of me. I repeat, crap.
"Looks like I'm in a cell or something," I inform myself. Three walls, no window, and bars make up the room. Definitely a cell, I'm trapped. "So, brain, how did we manage to get into this one?"
I stand up and take a closer look around me. The room contains things

There's going to be a murder
There's going to be a murder in town today
And everyone's decided to go.
No one knows who or how or even when
But they all want to know.
There's going to be a murder in town today
And everyone is on their toes.
Who will kill and who will be killed?
They'll all be at the show.
There's going to be a murder in town today
And everyone wants to see
Which of us will die and which of us will cry.
So will you go with me?

Super Walrus! (insert theme song here)
Once, there was a super hero walrus who wore a purple cape. He didn't fit in with the other super heroes because he couldn't fit into the spandex and boots. It was a sad existence for this super walrus. None of the damsels in distress ever fell for him and he was never knighted by the queen. He didn't get lots of money, and his arch nemesis was a turtle. Their fights were very slow going and could sometimes take days to complete. The battles never made the news. He was once yelled at for trying to beat up the turtle. The walrus became so sick of not being recognized, he decided to become a super villain and joined forces with the

I smiled, recognizing the man immediately. With a step forward and an outstretched hand, I greeted him like the old friend he was.
"You certainly took your time," I scolded, still smiling.
The corner of his mouth quirked upwards. "You know that I am very busy. Times like these always have me running about. Many would be thankful for the few extra moments."
"Indeed," I laughed, "and shouldn't you be working now?"
"You're right!" the man exclaimed. "I've allowed myself to become distracted." He stepped away from the door, gesturing elegantly towards it.
"After you," Death invited politely.

So, I'm traveling up to Minnesota with my mom to see a group of doctors. Yeah, fun stuff...
We stopped in Wisconsin for the night and ate at Culver's for dinner. It was delicious. I had chicken tenders and root beer and chocolate custard. ~eleventhdoctorplz (https://www.deviantart.com/eleventhdoctorplz) *chicken* fingers and custard :iconcloseenoughplz:. I feel very happy now!
